Pseads presents
An evening of live music, poetry, interactive art, local food, gardens, and wonderful company: celebrating the people, ideas, and possibilities growing through Pseads.
A time for celebration
Harvest of the Heart has become one of Pseads’ favorite traditions: a joyful evening where community comes together to celebrate the people and ideas that make this work meaningful.
Wander the gardens, reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and step inside the story of Pseads as we celebrate young people, educators, families, artists, elders, and community members helping shape a more hopeful future.
The evening
There is no single way to experience Harvest. Listen, make something, share a meal, find someone new, or simply enjoy the gardens.
Music woven through the evening and the garden setting.
Young voices, community voices, and the work that has grown through Pseads.
Creative invitations designed for participation rather than observation alone.
A relaxed Thursday evening with food and room to linger.
Space to wander one of Marin’s most beautiful gathering places.
Students, educators, families, elders, artists, partners, donors, and friends.

Why we gather
Pseads creates learning experiences where science, poetry, storytelling, creative expression, and the natural world become pathways for people to understand themselves, connect with others, and discover what they can contribute.
Harvest brings that spirit into one place. It is a chance to see the work, meet the people behind it, and celebrate a community committed to creativity, belonging, curiosity, and care.
Scenes from Harvest
Across the years: meals shared, poems read, music offered, generations meeting, and new relationships taking root.

A growing tradition
Harvest of the Heart began as a community “fun raiser” and has continued to grow while keeping the same purpose at its center: gathering people across generations around learning, creativity, and hope.
The first Harvest: a shared meal, youth and elder wisdom, and a community gathered under the redwoods.
The second gathering deepened the tradition through music, poetry, speakers, friendship, and renewed connection.
Harvest returned to the Marin Art & Garden Center to celebrate learning, creativity, fellowship, and intergenerational wisdom.
A Thursday evening to slow down, share food and music, spark new conversations, and imagine what grows next.
